Every cat deserves a chance at a safe, healthy, and loving life. At Kitten Angels, that belief is at the heart of everything we do.
A Rescue Dedicated to Saving Lives
Kitten Angels was founded with a mission to rescue vulnerable mother cats and kittens, including pregnant cats, orphaned litters, and at-risk felines in need of immediate care and safety.
Through our foster-based rescue program, every cat receives comprehensive veterinary care, including spay or neuter services, vaccinations, testing, parasite treatment, flea prevention, and socialization. These essential services help prepare each cat for a successful transition into a loving forever home.
As a no-kill rescue, we are committed to finding safe and compassionate outcomes for every cat in our care. For cats who may not be suited for traditional adoption, we work closely with community partners to secure alternative placement options where they can continue to live safely and receive ongoing care.
Addressing the Root Cause of Pet Overpopulation
While fostering and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs are vital components of animal welfare, they address only part of the larger issue of pet overpopulation.
With veterinary costs continuing to rise, many pet owners struggle to afford the expense of spaying and neutering their animals. Unfortunately, this often leads to unwanted litters and an increasing number of homeless cats in our communities.
Recognizing this growing need, Kitten Angels launched a dedicated 501(c)(3) community assistance program focused on providing affordable spay and neuter services. Through partnerships with trusted local veterinarians, we host monthly clinics throughout New York's Capital District, helping families access quality veterinary care while reducing the number of homeless animals.
Affordable Spay & Neuter Services
Kitten Angels offers a comprehensive spay and neuter program that includes:
Spay or neuter surgery
Parasite treatment
Flea treatment
Testing
Vaccinations
All services are provided by trusted local veterinary professionals.
Comparable veterinary services can cost several hundred dollars—and in some cases, over a thousand dollars. Through our community assistance program, the typical cost is just $175 per cat.
We also offer a sliding-scale fee structure for qualifying applicants who can provide proof of assistance. Payment is due in cash at the time of drop-off.
How the Process Works
Pre-registration is required for all appointments.
Allow 24–48 hours for a volunteer to contact you.
A volunteer will collect your information and schedule your appointment.
Prior to your appointment, you will receive a reminder along with drop-off instructions and feeding guidelines for the night before surgery.
Our goal is to provide an easy, accessible, and stress-free experience for cat owners while making these essential services available to as many families as possible.
How You Can Help
As you can imagine, providing affordable veterinary care is not free. Fundraising, donations, sponsorships, and grant support are what make this program possible.
Every contribution helps us continue offering low-cost spay and neuter services, reducing pet overpopulation, and improving the lives of cats and the people who care for them.
Be a Hero for Tiny Paws
By sponsoring this program, you're doing more than funding a veterinary procedure—you're helping reduce pet overpopulation, prevent unwanted litters, and create healthier futures for countless cats in our community.
Together, we can make a lasting difference, one cat at a time.
