Temporary Intake Closure and Foster Shortage

It is with great sadness that we announce today that we must temporarily suspend new intakes due to severe financial strain and an urgent need for foster homes.
Every day, we receive 40–50 calls and messages from community members seeking help for cats and kittens. Unfortunately, recent emergency rescues and the extensive medical procedures required for animals currently in our care have left us overwhelmed.
Kitten Angels receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations, adoption fees, and fundraising to cover veterinary care, medications, and daily operations. The group is run 100% by volunteers, all of whom are stretched to capacity.
How the Community Can Help
Foster: Anyone with a spare room—even a bathroom—can make an immediate difference by fostering a cat or kitten in need. Foster applications can be submitted here.
Donate:Â Monetary Contributions to help provide food, medical care, and supplies. Donations can be made online via PayPal or by mailing checks to:
Kitten Angels 233 Houseman St Mayfield, NY 12117
"We are deeply grateful to our supporters who allow us to do what we love—rescue and care for cats and kittens in need," said the spokesperson. "With your help, we can reopen to intake as soon as possible and continue saving lives."
