About
Kitten Angels was founded with a mission to rescue vulnerable mother cats and kittens — including pregnant cats, orphaned litters, and at-risk felines in need of immediate care and safety. Through our foster-based rescue program, every cat receives comprehensive veterinary care, including spay or neuter services, vaccinations, testing, parasite and flea treatment, and socialization to help prepare them for loving forever homes.
As a no-kill rescue, we are committed to finding safe and compassionate outcomes for every cat in our care. For cats who may not be suited for traditional adoption, we work closely with community partners to secure placement options where they can continue to live safely and be cared for.
While fostering and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs are essential, they address only part of the larger issue of pet overpopulation. With veterinary costs continuing to rise, many pet owners struggle to afford the expense of spaying and neutering their animals, leading to more unwanted litters and homeless cats.
To help address this growing need, Kitten Angels launched a dedicated 501(c)(3) community assistance program providing low-cost spay and neuter services. In partnership with local veterinarians, we host monthly clinics serving the Capital District region of New York, helping families access affordable care while reducing the number of homeless animals in our communities.
